A perfume house from the United Arab Emirates, named after the Arabic word for a journey.
The name
Rihla (رحلة) is the Arabic word for a journey. The house was founded in the UAE on the idea that a scent can carry a place, a person and a moment further than memory alone.
Three roads
Each of the three Eau de Parfums is named only by its number. 01 travels through honey, tobacco and saffron. 02 crosses Damascus rose and Ceylon cinnamon to musk and sandalwood. 03 moves from peach and bergamot to vanilla and sandalwood.
The bottles are cut glass with gold caps, and each arrives in a black case lined with satin. The photographs on this site were made among concrete colonnades where the light falls in bars, the kind of place where a journey begins.
